I successfully went online and subscribed to "the Porsche Charging Service Inclusive Period until 3/18/26."

However I am having difficulty getting the app to install the corresponding certificate. I see the screen to request a certificate and then an immediate error message saying unable to request the certificate.

Note I have walked through the known issues page and ensured that the car is on while doing this and that data privacy mode is set appropriately in the PCM. I have also sent daily emails (last 3 days) to customersupport@porsche.com with these screenshots and never gotten a response.

Has anyone else run into this?

I had the same issue. First, what do you see when you go to Account, Charging Service? It should show your subscription info. If it doesn't, you may need to enroll (it should provide a link). The reason I say "may" is because once you've enrolled, it can take up to 24 hours for this section to fill in. Once that section is populated you should be able to request the certificate And install it.

A couple of suggestions…
Make sure Connection Services is enabled on the car’s privacy settings.
Search “certificate” in this forum and there is a long thread with possible solutions.
Be patient and wait a few more days. I received my car on a Thursday afternoon, tried to install the certificate many times that day and on Friday. Gave up and miraculously it was working on Monday afternoon. Made me wonder whether it had to be activated by Porsche America or Porsche Germany as a final step before it worked.

Dealer had this issue loading mine and it was fixed by logging out of the app and then logging back in and going through the process again and it showed up ..,

Dealer had this issue loading mine and it was fixed by logging out of the app and then logging back in and going through the process again and it showed up ..,
I picked up my Macan in November and since then Plug and Charge wasn't working (and I didn't wanted to do the factory reset). Now I tried it again and it suddenly worked. I also logged out of the app before. Maybe this solved the issue or they've done something in the background :).

I tried to enable it gor the very first time and it just worked. No issues whatsoever, maybe they fixed something on the backend
