Two things that I've liked about the Macan is its size (not as huge, vs. the Cayenne, or as long and wide as the Panamera) and its ground clearance (vs. the Panamera). The biggest problem with the Macan, in my opinion, is its not having an E-Hybrid version; having a 26-kWh battery pack like the current Cayenne and Panamera E-Hybrids would be huge, and something I'd opt for. While the forthcoming end-of-decade crossover Porsche may have an E-Hybrid drivetrain, I worry that the ground clearance will be too small for my needs (anything under 7 inches is a no-go for me).

I think you might get your wish in the future for a Macan E-Hybrid. Be interesting to watch the market evolution. Love our Macan EV Turbo. Hopefully some compelling options in the next 3-4 years when it’s upgrade time.
