My Macan got broken into last night and they broke the rear passenger window. Should I take it to a dealer to get replaced or find a reputable glass shop? Anything special about the glass Porsche uses?

Straight to the dealer for oem glass and fitting don’t take it to an auto glass shop, they use third party glass so markings, tint, fit, thickness, etc. can be different.
I think Macan glass is saint-cobain.
Pay the excess and let the insurance foot the rest.

Get one with matching code on glass or it will always be obvious as a replacement- I would not but a car with non matching glass without checking out what was going on.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I echo the sentiments above - would go back to dealer to have the glass replaced, ESPECIALLY if you have the acoustic glass optioned.

About 3 months ago my rear passenger window got struck by a stray pebble thrown by a grass trimmer and cracked (thankfully the laminate held the window together). Took my dealer about 3 weeks to get the replacement part flown in (they had stock of the windscreen, but not the passenger windows). Claimed the cost from my windscreen/glass insurance.

Good luck and hope you get it sorted out soon!

pay the ins deductible and get it done at the dealer...this car is too fickle to have Temu techs in it
