Rain sensing wipers?

Hello friends - loving the drive and feel on my new copper ruby 4S
Did figure out the charging after some sw glitches, plus occasional unexplained errors from the different safety systems, they seem to self correct. Agree that center dash is a little weird, and the Burmeister sound is decent ( had this on my MB E450 Cabrio and can’t go back…)
Only thing that doesn’t work is the wipers in “intermittent” mode. I live in Seattle so rain is a thing. Is the 4S supposed to have a rain sensor? I think so, but it isn’t working after 6 rainy drives.

Position one on the stalk is rain sensing. You can adjust the sensitivity with the other switch. The manual has a picture/drawing.

Thanks I’ve tried this. Moving the stalk into that position causes the wipers to wipe once, but even in a downpour and the highest sensitivity level, no wiping. I’m suspecting a bad sensor. Too bad for a new car to have silly stuff not working.

I think I saw someone else recently post the rain sense problem. So there are at lease two cars not like the others.

I can confirm my rain sensors and wipers work as supposed to be working, no issues.

Mine work as well. Other stuff doesn’t but wipers good. Especially compared to the Tesla wipers

I've successfully used the Macan EV's intermittent wiper in Seattle. I didn't believe it worked the first few times that I tried but something magically occurred that caused it to begin working. I chocked it up to operator error but, after other reports, who knows?

It should work as auto rain sensors in position one of the stalk, which is marked as intermittent (I at first thought there was no auto option after seeing it described as that rather than auto - thankfully I realised when driving the other half's Taycan in the rain). If it's not working in that position with the sensitivity set to full, I'd take it back to the dealer, as there could be a sensor issue.

I once had this issue in my Audi all road. It was a bad sensor. After replacement, it worked like a charm.
