Hi everyone, I’m wanting some advice. I bought a macan turbo June 2025. I love it, but recently when going around a bend the rear wheel feels like it’s slipping. Today it oversteered when going around a bend. I wasn’t going too quick, but it is icy on roads.

when on full lock when setting off the wheels also make a weird clunky sound.
I am not sure if this is normal but the oversteer today certainly didn’t feel right.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

At very low speeds and sharp turns you may feel skips or jumps because of the way Porsche sets the wheel alighnment

Dunno if the UK Turbo has PTV+ as standard, but a malfunctioning rear diff could lock both wheels together which, I suppose, could cause what you are observing.

I have this in cold weather on my summer tires. I think it's because of the very narrow turning radius you can achieve, it feels like the front tires jump a little.

I was doing 25mph, 40Kmph. And a 90 degree turn. I have done this same manoeuvre at similar speeds previously and haven’t had any problems. It was cold today though. I don’t know about PVT+.

Ackerman Effect.

Front wheels only.

Normal on most Porsches.

I have the Turbo on Winter tires now, but when the road is wet or icy, the Porsche will let the back break out in a controlled way, you feel this as the rear wheel steering and PVT seem to deliberately do this …
Same on summer tires and wet roads …
It always feels controlled though.
