Has anyone experienced something similar or found a reliable solution?

this happens. i still think it has a lot to do with the knowledge of the service center. but they will figure it out or get help from stuttgart.

They told me they are waiting for an email from Germany because the vehicle caused an issue during the software update and is currently not drivable. It’s a really frustrating situation. In return, they gave me a petrol-electric BMW X1 for 7 days, which is unacceptable — but unfortunately, I have no choice but to wait.

Any chance you have the Turbo version? Trying to determine if the issue is related to that version.

Closing in on week three of the car at the dealer. No closer to resolution than on day one. Received call yesterday from Porsche NA representative to review Massachusetts Lemon Law as the regulation kicks in after 15 days of inability to fix the problem. Meeting with Dealership GM tomorrow to discuss path forward. Remarkable that I am in this position but I guess it is luck of the draw although I suspect it is a deeper systemic issue that will emerge with other cars.

If folks are interested I can post the outcome.

I've had these same issues and I have a Turbo. Same thing exactly. If you turn the vehicle off for 15+ minutes it corrects itself. I've been in to the shop 4x and they have not soolved anything. The Apple Car Play also stops letting my phone connect and they want me to unplug a wire in the back trunk to fix that when it happens. Not sure I should be doing this for a $125,000 car.

Try deleting your Porsche profile in the car and creating a new one (can be the same name). That solved all my recurring CarPlay connection problems. Make sure you only check the third icon (CarPlay) in Connection Manager when you connect your phone, don’t select the Phone and Music functions.

That has been done 2x. It worked fine for about a month and then just happened again a few days ago. The car is at the Porsche dealer now and they are looking at it again.

Also check your Macan is not connected to your home WiFi (well not the same WiFi network that your iPhone is connected to).

It is parkedout of range of my home WIFI. I am in a condo bulilding.

i had the rotating random sensor alerts and an electric system error back in june. car was in shop for 3 weeks. they were unable to find the problem, with i assume stutgarts help it’s been happening again over the last month or so. i’m just ignoring them and it resolves on it’s own the next time i start the car. i’ve also had the alarm randomly going off problem which was resolved after car was in shop for a week. was kinda hoping they’d get these problems figured out and would be resolved with a recall…
