Simple (and cheap - in every sense) system to eliminate seat belt hook ticking against the pillar. Easy to install and eventually to remove.
In my case it completely solved the problem, and I also installed it on the seat belts of the rear (side) seats

As I wait for my 4S (now at port in CA) and how to address this rattle, I decided look at my Alfa. Interestingly they use a felt piece on the back of the buckle. A simple piece of black felt that you can’t see given the buckle is black. A very clean look. The seat belts also have the sliding clip.

I tried one of the ones from Amazon but will be returning them. They were easy to put on, but the back side of them looks really sloppy, and that's the side you see and touch when buckling in. But possibly it can be fixed with double-sided tape or a touch of adhesive...

Yes, I bought those exact ones on Amazon. It’s a very tight fit but they do work after stretching them a bit.

I only use one on the passenger side buckle and bought a sliding clip for the driver side seat belt from Porsche (similar to the one in the link below).

The ones from Amazon which I mentioned above did require stretching to get the seams to fit together and included small pieces of double-sided tape to keep them in place.
