Was out earlier, spoiler manually extended whilst fiddling with some of the Drive Mode settings.

Pulled back on drive and went to retract spoiler, but it was greyed out and a message popped up, something along the lines of ‘functionality not available at this time’ (can’t recall exact wording).

I will see if this goes away tomorrow but wondered if there’s any inbuilt frost / freezing protection? The temp is 2 degrees c and the ice logo is on the dash so was wondering if that’s perhaps inhibiting things?

I am sure I read somewhere however someone’s spoiler was damaged after driving through snow

Did you manually extend the spoiler? If so you'll have to switch back to Drive mode.

In the PCM, go to Vehicle -> Drive -> Extend Spoiler.
This is where I was trying to retract the spoiler using the usual method, but the entire spoiler toggle was greyed out.

Lock the car for 30min and take keys away with you. Then try spoiler again . I have learned that there is a reset for most functions. Also I noticed you have to wait for the spoiler to either fully extend or retract before the interface updates. Hope this helps
