Is there a factory shutdown over the holidays?
I was told they only shut down for a couple weeks in August. Is there a factory shutdown over the holidays?
Yesterday the freeze point was completed, today it was pulled back. Unusual?:Timeline for my 4S:

Thanks, wasn't so much worry, just curious. Not unusual at all, no. The system constantly shuffles around the dates. Any changes of less than 10 days isn't worth worrying about.
where? the dealership lot or at the factory? The car’s built and sitting in the lot,
You said you would try it on Monday evening, and it’s Thanksgiving week. Patience.i've added my order information to the app, and it's pending confirmtation...but it's been about a week now...
Thanks, out of curiosity I was wondering why the freeze date was the end of November but they were not planning to start production till mid Jan. Where the typical freeze to prod complete is about 3 weeks, this is 6 weeks. That could make some sense to me if everything shuts down for awhile, but they still wanted to be prepared for restart on day one.. .. or perhaps is the 4S or both.I suspect the factory will close for 2 weeks during Christmas time. This is due to the dates of start and end of production. Normally this is 6 days. For some it takes 2 weeks longer I have seen here and there on the forum. My Macan goes into production on December 10th and then comes off the assembly line on December 16th and is at the dealer on December 24th.

I think your dealer is full of shit. Late November to December 13th isn't a big deal. That could just be transport logistics or software timing. A two-three week delay is par for the course for factory cars.Factory
Bro I'm dying over here!Patience.
