Which is the option in the configurator to have the plastic bumpers painted in piano black?

Just saw this Macan Turbo at the dealership and I am gutted I didn't pick it for my upcoming 4S

I don't think that you can have them in black lucid as the ones on Turbo model.

Point of view: especially the front bumper is one of the part so near to the road that can be damaged by rock and debris. I do many km every day so it's something I'm very sensitive about.

Yes, only in Turbos it is an option. My Porsche salesperson told me that some clients have asked him to do it in the workshop and that it is a lot of work because you have to sand the front relief, on the Turbo it is smooth but not on the rest.

Agreed, it looks *so* much better in gloss black. I worry a little about keeping it pristine however (as Diego also called out), may have to put some protection on it.

That’s why I did put PPF on the complete car …

Ppf doesn t make it smooth. It only protective film. Have it done on all cars.

Did I call it smooth? Anyway I have it now and it’s really smooth , but of course I‘ve done it to keep it protected from the accidental scratches and also Carwash abuse, which is especially a b#tch on black cars …

I'm interested in seeing how the aftermarket mfr's do with the rear bumper as well... The way the bumpers are made, it would seem like aftermarket "lips," diffusers or painted options would be easy to put on

I have a 4S on the way and am thinking of wrapping these in either gloss black or carbon. I need to see how textured they are in the flesh to see if the wrap would cover ok
