Textured side cladding

I've noticed that all the pictures I've seen of Macan EVs have what appears to be smooth side cladding. However, ours is textured (see pics). I believe this is related to offroad 21" wheels, black roof rails, and offroad front facia. Anyone else got these textured sides?

There is an option to get this either in gloss black or carbon fibre.

@Awaz So likely we just have ye Olde standard side blades then. Looks fine with adventurine and offroad bits though.

I believe the default side blade for non-Turbos has the textured pattern in gray like shown in your picture.

If you choose high gloss black, carbon fiber, or exterior color side blades there should be no texture (same for Turbonite on the Turbo).

@driege Well I like dirt in my music and texture on just about everything, so guess it worked out ok. Hope your fall is going super.

Or body colour. And if it's the Turbo, then you can also spec it in Turbonite.

So, depending on model, there are actually five different configurations possible.

In my opinion, they are in cheap plastic, and i find them awful in reality ...

Why are you thinking it’s “cheap”?
However I’ve read that with time, the carbon sideblades become fragile, and uneasy to remove without breaking them (based on Macan ICE)

I saw them last week, and touch them, plastic is not quality one for such a car

I opted for body colour and recently I noticed I got some paint transfer across the whole blade. Lucky managed to clean it with WD40. I think having those bits in stock plastic might be a better option if you plan to use the car a lot.

I considered body color, but liked how the contrast affected the design flow with the front offroad fascia and black rails. Not a fan of cladding either, but can't afford a hand formed vintage Ferrari body so there's that.

This is what I got with my Macan 4. I don't mind what I did get but always curious to see if the other options (gloss or carbon) would look better

I chose gloss black (with IG) because it seems to me that it gives the impression that the line of the macan is lower, less massive.
I like the way sedans look, but Macan is obviously not a sedan!

In body color, it is very nice with top rails and suspension in their highest level
