What's the order / delivery status of your Macan EV? [Update your status if/when it changes]

tonmjw - my 4S has gone into production today - 5 days early. Have you or the company buying the car rec’d an email confirming your car has achieved one of the ‘steps’

I got an update today saying it went into build on the 20th, with completion on the 29th. They expect it to be at the dealership on the 16th Feb now.

Can confirm! US-based here - I placed an order Monday and my dealer told me to expect the TYD email within 24 hours, but I had the email (subject was “Track your Macan Turbo”) from Porsche before I’d even finished signing the order confirmation.

Added to the app with a couple of clicks, and it landed right along side my current vehicle.

It seems that the time between order and arrive has lengthened? Jan to May seems longer than what I experienced.

Wonder if good sign Macan EV is selling quite well.

Ordered last week with no allocation, it was estimated for Q3. Porsche assigned production date yesterday and I should get 4 months earlier end of april

It is a 4S but apparently they are not selling any in Spain…

Where did you get that from - did the dealer provide it. My only source of info is the App and it’s certainly not that detailed. Have you asked for collection mid-March as the car looks to be sat at the dealers for a month.

Yh this is what I got the last few times I brought from Porsche so ask for this breakdown on a weekly basis.

And I’ve asked for a 1st March collection which they have confirmed assuming it’s all ready on time. Not sure how the date of the 16th is generated

I’m ideally looking to get the Turbo in June, so ended up with a May build by choice. Didn’t ask specifically, but got the impression earlier allocations were available.

... you can figure out which ship and the ship’s schedule by looking at the VW shipping schedule to see which ship is docked at Emden at that time. Although sometimes the car is shipped on a different car carrier (not from VW).

This site will tell you what is in port and expected arrivals. Click on the ship name and it will show you where the ship is and where its going. This will also include non VW ships, but I've read there are some ships that don't do AIS and won't be listed. Once you know your ship name, you can track its progress.

You guys are lucky. We ordered our 4S in Oct, it was built on Jan 8 and not scheduled to arrive Calif coast till March/April

I expected to take delivery on January 24th and just found out it's been pushed back to February 14th. I also was given the name of the ship it is on and that hasn't even reached the East Coast yet.

I'm very bummed...
