Hi, you say they tweaked the attachment. Did you happen to see them do that or know how because I think one of mine seems to be misaligned
Yes one of mine looks similar so if this is tweakable that would be greatWell, I'm fairly sure that my door is concave - and that will be tricky to "tweak" onto the convex body panel.

That image looks horrifying...is that white shape real or an optical illusion? I recognize that shape from X files.....Has your car been sideswiped by an Alien by chance? ;0No.
There is no amount of enthusiastic screwdrivering (30 seconds or otherwise) that will fix this.
Because it is not an "alignment" problem. It is a "this part is the wrong shape" problem.
In fact, in two axes the fitment is quite good. It is the profile of the metal part of the component that is incorrect.
Great news.It’s delivery day and I’m at the dealer awaiting a final wash on my 4S. I did an initial inspection and, thanks to this forum helping me know what to look for, noticed that one of the charge port doors (manual, not electric) did not align well with the body. I drew this to the attention of my SA, and he had the techs take a look at it.
At this point, they think it’s due to the plastic clips to which the metal panel attaches. In support of this conjecture, they noticed that the panel is loose on the side that’s misaligned and not on the other (which is fine). To address this, they are ordering a replacement door assembly. I’ll have to come back to get that work done, but it’s nice to know there’s a good solution to a problem that others have experienced.
I just sent out a text asking them for a reference number but in the mean time if you tell the service department there is a TI out on it, they should find it. The TI is very recent they said...even just last week although they did not give me any more Info. I will update you with more when I get it.

Incidentally they had three other Macans there and they all had misalignment issues and now that they know this is the problem they are going to fix all of the unsold ones they have on the lotGreat news.
I paid a visit to my dealer today and they looked Into my flap door alignment...which basically looked like yours. Porsche has come out with a TI which entails removing the boot on the inside of the flap and adjusting 3 torque screws and a star wheel adjustment and bam...fixed. Took them about 1 hour. See pictures below as they are now perfectly flush!! Very happy.

This is correct. My service department said that Porsche has issued a technical instruction on how to adjust the panel. The technician looked it up and followed the instructions to fix the problem. He said it was just released but did not give me a specific date when it came out but I imagine it’s brand new because two weeks ago they told me they did not know if it could be fixed. I asked for a TI number and will update when I get it. In any case they need to review the list of TI for the car now which they have access to and they will find it.Just to understand it correctly
If yes, I would also inform my dealer about this. I've already had my car there three weeks ago and asked them to align them but they told me "its not possible"...
