Did they perform any software updates? We haven't heard squat from Porsche about updates for any of these annoying software issues.

We've only had ours since June (10k miles), but still.

If it is true, they should release the big software update next week. Whether they will push through or not is yet to see. This isn’t a hoax btw but directly from my dealer.

brake fluid is time based, not miles on porsches. its due at 2 years (to manage moisture)

Had the car in for the 1st service. Instead of paying $1500 for the service, I asked for 2 things:
1. brake fluid flush (at 1 year, this is an overkill IMO)
2. service interval reset

Total $440

I got a loaner, and they performed several different recall campaigns.

I'll need to replace the cabin air filter and wipers myself, but I kept a chunk of change in my pocket. Did the same approach with my Tycan for 2 services.

Next service Oct 2027 or 1880 miles (not sure why not 20k, but that's what shows on my app)

BTW, for those who hate the passenger seatbelt buckle rattling, they installed this as part of a recall, I'm guessing.

I had mine done under the ‘campaign’ and it does look anything like that. In fact I can’t see any difference but it certainly works. May be a different resolution in the UK ?

Can you take a pic? I can’t see how they can fix this without replacing the belt like the I have shown above or something looking like a bodge (what they did to OPs car).
There is very little space between the buckle and the B pillar in the Macan which makes it impossible for the buckle not to hit the B pillar when the car rocks side to side.

Thank you. That looks like mine as it came from the factory, I did not do the recall.
I have mine the same way, jammed up all the way up, it is the only position that it doesn’t rattle.

but at the same time, i bet when the car is out for testing, there's always another person in the passenger
No, Porsche were fully aware of this design fault, it is included in the manual.

Personally, I prefer this option. It's barely visible. I installed it on both front seatbelts.
The standard clip solves the problem temporarily, but it eventually shifts and hits the B-pillar again when you're alone.

I assume it is same as new VWs where only the authorized dealer can reset the service reminder via connection to the mother ship, no solution for the DIYer or independent mechanic.
This is the only way for the Manufacturer (Porsche or otherwise) to charge from 500-1500euro for EV service which consists of:
1) pollen filter replacement, part costs from 10-50euro, install in 1-5 min depending on car
2) brake fluid replacement, fluid costs around 10 euro, labour 30-60min
3) inspection (visual), 15 minutes
I consider anything over 200 euro a scam (talking about EVs).

Tesla for example recommends checking brake fluid every 4 years and replacing if necessary.

Porsche being a legacy manufacturer makes most of its money from aftersales (servicing) and selling brand image so people think its ok to pay 500-1500 euro for the privilege to have it serviced at Porsche.

At 1 year I would service it myself, use the blower on the cabin filter if needed, no inspection necessary (I drive the car every day), Labour: 5 min, Cost: free of charge:)

In Europe we are allowed by law to have the car serviced at an independent mechanic and keep the warranty, parts do not even have to be original just to meet quality standards. Manufacturer is obliged to supply at reasonable cost all info, diagnostic tools, software which includes resetting the service reminder. If this is not available you are allowed to go to a dealer and have the reminder reset. This is in theory, in practice they may well tell you to piss off:CWL:
Just out of curiosity, since you mentioned using blower on the cabin filter. How do you access the cabin filter so we can pull it out and change it ourselves? As I understand from the ICE Macans, the cabin filter is located on the passenger side below the glove box compartment. I don't see the same type of clips in my Macan. They just look like this.

Is this what I need to remove to gain access to it?
