I cheated slightly. They had one arriving that was pretty much exactly how I had configured one myself. The only real difference was it had the Burmester sound system in it.

After 25 years of BMWs, finally leaving Munich…. I’m in the UK and ordered a Macan 4 back in July, via my company car/salary sacrifice scheme. Only to be told it would be next May for delivery!

Have now been told by Porsche Reading that it will actually arrive in early March.

Coming from a BMW X3 PHEV, I did think about waiting for an iX3, which would work out cheaper and maybe more practical with the family; but the way it looks…. Why the big, bluff, nose??? The Macan could be ‘tighter’ looking in my opinion, but overall is better than the Beemer (I think the neue klasse 3-series saloon will probably look good though).

One area BMW have been making steady progress is with their app and OTA map updates, etc; which sounds like Porsche are a bit behind with.

Anyway, went with Dolomite Silver, Bordeaux Red/Black leather, Bose, Thermal and Privacy Glass, PASM (steel springs), power steering plus (getting dodgy hands/wrists as getting older!), Comfort Access and the ‘basic’ parking 2D/surround camera. Can’t wait!

2 days in and I can tell you, it’s well worth the wait!

For those with MY2026, did you get the rearranged driver display (ride height is now in middle instead of right side), car color in dash and the display of current charging speed?
I am just curious to know if they deliver MY2026 with an updated software version (which we will hopefully all get):
According to another forum digital key does not work reliably yet, I guess they will still have to update the App.

Most importantly, are you able to filter the charging providers used in charge planning?

Not sure if this helps, but you can set preferred charge point operators and those you like to avoid in Porsche app.

Can't recall if I had the traffic light in my 4s. Wonder why it does show yellow and red with clearly green lights.

Well, if you select the battery widget on the left tube it should show a 'Max.' number that indicates currently possible max charging speed.
The car seems to be in exterior colour so you definitely have an updated software over all MY 2024/2025 owners.

@CHP I know. I use the App most of the time to plan my trips anyway so that's already super useful. However it does not stop the PCM to reroute occasionally.

@MMR Did you check voice control? You should be able to use google/Alexa for some searches. Would help on long drives with quizzes for the children

Very cool, I will add to this thread as there was no communication about the increased traffic sign recognition. The MY26 Q6 gets these features too. What else will Macan get in common with Q6? We need a side by side comparison really... Any volunteers?

Side note: the 3D assistance view is still useless! As you cannot see cars in your blindspot - they just need to zoom out a little and it will then become useful like in other cars with this graphic.

Also, the available charging power readout is always available in the battery 'tube' on the left. It shows what speed you could get when you plug into a DC charger, and also applies to the amount of regen. You'll notice when the battery is cold or at high state of charge the max regen power is reduced.
