Hey guys, newbie virgin poster here so be gentle.

Took delivery of a macan 4 7 weeks ago. All seemed well for the first week then noticed a rattle/knock from around the rear right side of the car. Checked all the fittings, tow loop, locking nut, tyre pump, parcel shelf and all taken out and still it still knocks,

it seems to be a little intermittant but always does it over bumpy surface or maybe a grid. Went to the porsche centr friday and couldnt find anything!!

I am still trying to sort with them, but any suggestions??? Thoughts? Anyone else?

I have noticed the exact same issue. I'm bringing mine in for service on Friday to have them take a look. I suspect it has to do with the parcel shelf. Will keep you posted!!

Lubricate the rear hatch latch to rule out that- has been an issue on Taycans.

what would you suggest for that?
I would not lube anything. I had a hatch latch on the Cayenne exactly as you are describing making noise when hitting bumps or going over the rough road. I put some felt below the flapper that goes down when the latch closes to make it tighter and that fixed the issue.

When you open your hatch and look at the hook area at the base of the trunk, there is a plastic call it flapper, part that you can push down around the hook that the hatch latches on. Carefully, put some felt or foam below that flapper. So when the hatch latches and pushes on the flapper down, it will hit the foam and will prevent it from making noise, in my case that solved the rattle.
