Interesting that they recorded a 0-60 MPH time of 2.8 seconds for the Macan EV Turbo. Officially it’s rated at 3.1 seconds.

I don't know if they do the weird timing that US magazines do (one foot rollout or similar). Or perhaps the racetrack is much grippier than the surface used for official timing. Or maybe Porsche really are conservative with specs, as is often said.

That being a drag strip, it probably was pretty grippy

That’s not a drag strip, that’s the front straight of Willow Springs. I have participated in numerous high performance driving events there. The surface isn’t very grippy, it is really no different than your average Southern California highway. It gets quite a bit of blown sand and dust (and the occasional tumbleweed).
