Cannot access charging or pre-climate in app - all other app features work?

Hi there,

New to forum, and new to Porsche! Loving my Macan EV Turbo so far - about two weeks into it.

Has anyone else encountered the mobile app (iPhone) fail to engage on features? I am logged into the car as the main driver. I can see vehicle location, I can lock/unlock the car, etc. But for whatever reason the charging screen shows "charge status not available" and then I cannot activate/use the pre-climate screen.

Inside the car, all of those services are enabled (I have double checked the car seettings and privacy settings). Toggling them off/on again doesn't help, logging out and back into the app doesn't help.

Anyone else had this issue? I've opened a support ticket with Porsche but i'm not optimistic that will get anywhere.

Just today it would not precondition. Then I clicked on functions and the only function showing is alarms. None of the others. I can't see m to get any of the other features back. It currently won't show me just about anything... The state of charge, etc

damn, lol... i was hoping this thread had a solution. I'm seeing the same issue with mine i just brought home yesterday.
I tried resetting the accounts in the car already. but no change. the remote climate features are completely missing from the app, and i'm seeing "limited view (privacy settings)" when attempting to look at charging settings. Nothing i seem to look at or toggle in the privacy settings changes anything.
one of thing of note, it seems i'm just a user in the car...but not the "main user" ...

did you guys figure this out @PacNWMacanEVOwner @Duke95 ?

I am currently waiting for an answer from Porsche Connect Services. They "escalated" me internally a week ago - nothing yet.

So if anyone else knows how to solve - please chime in!

i called Posche support and we went through a couple things...
interestingly, the Climate option would show up in the app if i turned OFF the connect services... If i turned them back on, (as they are needed to connect to the car) the climate option would disappear...
so i too now have a case opened with Porsche

I have the same problem. Only had the car 2 weeks. Dealer seems unable to give any answer except to tell me that I’m one of four people with the same complaint

I had a similar thing, or so i thought for the pre cool/heat. I discovered that if you set a departure time in the app, then edit it you can toggle a button on or off for pre cool/heat cabin
Sorry if i have mis-understood the issue you are having. The pre cool/heat on the app is different now to when i had a Taycan

I had this same problem and it was only solved when the Porsche North America rep requested intervention by the level 3 support team in Germany. It's wonderful when you get it working. Nice to be able to prewarm the car when you want from the app without having to schedule it.

Circling back to this issue, just took delivery of my Macan and had the Plug and charge issue which I was able to fix by using the advice given on another thread here, but this issue of Charging status not available is still present in the app. All other functions work except this. Before going down the road of submitting a ticket with Porsche, was hoping someone had found a method to take care of this at home?

I have tried all of the usual things, hard and soft reset of the PCM, along with logging out, of the app, deleting and reinstalling the app etc.. . Settings on the car appear correct.

Any input appreciated.

yeah, go on and call porsche customer service. it's an issue on the back end... nothing you can fix it appears
