Charge status and climate not accessible in app

I just took delivery of a turbo on Saturday. All seems to be well except the MyPorche app does not display the charge status and the climate preconditioning screen is greyed out. The app seems to connect to the Macan fine because mileage and lock status are displayed and I can lock/unlock and flashers can be triggered from the app. Any ideas?

Make sure Connection Services is enabled on the car’s privacy settings (in your car’s computer).
Then check your account in the My Porsche’s App to see if Connection Services are active in the Bookings and Orders.

As above, I had enable Porsche Connect, but even then it took 24hrs for the SoC and preconditioning functions to appear. All works well now. This is my experience in NZ.

Interestingly, we took delivery of a Macon turbo electric on Saturday as well. We have the exact same issues except they haven't resolved as yours have. We've gone through everything we can to try to get it working including resetting the PCM and ensuring all the connected services are set up. We had to take it back to the dealership and even they don't know why it's not working. Massive bummer.

Is this the Android phone app? I've read there was some issues with a recent app update.

It is the Android app. However, it was having the issue prior to the most recent update to the Porsche app and continued to have it after the update

Connection services and location had been activated in settings. I got the notice that connection services had been activated on Monday. Took it to the dealer this morning and he couldn’t figure it out. Got back home and now it is working! Mystery still, but problem solved.

Update!
It's fixed. Our dealership had their Porsche expert in today. They had to do a full factory reset on the entire car. Works like a charm now.
