Closing trunk by your foot

Hi, I can't find a way to close the rear boot with my foot on my Macan4. The manual says it should be possible, but I can't get it to work. Can you please share your experience? Many thanks.
I have the "Porsche Entry" included of course.

I think the foot trick only works to open the rear hatch. I’ve never seen a reference to that closing it.

If you removed all the factually challenged opinions from this forum, it would float away due to lack of mass!

That said, I tried it and it worked. One kick-like motion, just to the right of center did the trick. I thus stand corrected and retract my baseless opinion.

I hope you get it working.

You swipe to the right to close it. Left opens, right closes. At least that's what works for me, I'll have to test more to see if that's real. It does close it, I just did it

You need to step away from the trunk (or not be too close to start with). If the car senses you standing right behind the car it won’t close as a safety precaution.

This!!! Took me a few days to figure out why it was only working intermittently.

Check that the option is enabled - Vehicle Locking - Comfort opening tailgate option

Make sure the keys are on your person, centre of the bumper (not too close) foot in / out and step back, repeat to close.

It works to close it. As discussed in the video above, a kick, offset under the right side, triggers both opening and closing. There is just a bit of delay that often cause me to think the kick didn’t work, but if I wait a second, it usually opens/closes.
