Hi All,

Thought I'd start a thread on simple tips that has made driving the macan easier.
Just found out that if you keep the mic button down long press you get to voice control your phone like siri. I tried to short press and play an album but it won't play and will ask you to connect via bluetooth whereas you are already connected carplay.

Cheers

Or you can say "Hey Porsche" (equals short press), or "Siri" (equals long press) (obviously if in CarPlay).

Here's one I just found: if you shift into neutral, the PCM gives you the option of staying there vs. automatically shifting to Park when you open the door (I assume, the Macan version of car-wash mode?)

Two more things I found in the manual:

- If the vehicle is going in for service and will be on a vehicle lift, the automatic self-leveling function ā€œmustā€ be disabled. Find that at: settings, vehicle settings, additional chassis settings, activate jack mode. This obviously also is done when using a jack. Pg. 180 In my US manual.

- If there is no front seat passenger, you can raise the seat belt buckle to an indent at the top of the strap. The buckle will stay there and not rattle against the plastic on the B-pillar. Pg. 128.

Precondition the car so it's toasty hot in the morning for you using the app, set time day and repeat.
