My brand new Turbo just got delivered and the screen is stuck saying "loading account." The sound works, etc. but the central screen seems to be stuck. I tried the reset with the volume knob, but that did not resolve the issue.

They are closed for the day, that was the first thing I did. The car was fine until it asked me if I wanted to download voice data. When I hit "yes," in response to the question it started the problem.

I had this happen to me after I entered the wrong pin too many times (I had created my Porsche account months ago and forgot what I used). Once that happened I had to reset the pin on the porsche site, but that requires resetting the car to factory defaults. Painful, but it fixed it.

I had this happen to me after I entered the wrong pin too many times (I had created my Porsche account months ago and forgot what I used). Once that happened I had to reset the pin on the porsche site, but that requires resetting the car to factory defaults. Painful, but it fixed it.
How did you reset the car to factory defaults? That is precisely what I want to do, but I cannot figure out how to do it (soft reset by holding volume for 30 seconds does not work, it's going to take a factory reset).

I was still able to access the PCM, just nothing related to the account. Clicking the menu icon on the left still worked in my case, so I could get to settings. If yours can't even do that you probably have to take it in so they can hard reset it by rerunning PDI.

Very easy to forget pins if you have many different ones for different purposes. Hence, I tend to use the same pin I use for ATMs.

Did you try to park underground, where there is no 4g/5g signal?
Close the door, leave the car alone for 5 minutes at a distance from the key, and reopen the car.
I assume the pcm will detect the network is not available, and maybe, it will no try to connect to the account.
Then, reset to factory settings.

If it's the same issue I had, you can try to set the time manually. If you go to settings -> time/location or whatever it's called and set it to current day. Mine was set to a 1970 or something and after setting it to the current day all my accounts loaded.

This happened to me on the first day of ownership. (2024 Macan 4 EV) The car became bolluxed up when attempting to add my wife as secondary user (stuck on loading accounts). I got on the phone with 1-800… and they approved the secondary account, having me then delete and re-add my primary account on the vehicle. Then I let the car sit for about an hour and everything loaded properly…. No problems since.

Ok, problem is now fixed. As the post above indicated, it was related to the multi-user login. Until they resolve this, I would avoid trying to register multiple users.
