Insurance costs for your Macan EV?

USAA $95/Mo on a standalone policy. Would be less if I moved homeowners over.

Just taken out a new policy for Macan 4 with Admiral at a cost of £906 which is their Platinum cover. They have a special EV package. My current insurer for the Taycan is Aviva and they refused cover for the Macan. GoCompare is worth trying. A number of Insurers below £1000.

Allstate, 3 cars, 2 houses, umbrella. No claims (except 2 windshield over the past few years), no accidents or violations.
Macan 4, 500k/500k, $500 collision deductible, $710/6 months.

For reference, on same policy, 2024 Volvo XC60 is ~$520, 2019 Subaru Forester is ~$460.

I ended up with Admiral Platinum at £1200/pa. I was with Hiscox at £4200!

I just checked what Platinum cover is. From what I understand, Platinum is the same cover as a Gold policy, plus breakdown cover.
But do you need extra breakdown cover when Porsche already provide that for three years?

Probably not but it was only a small increase in premium. I now have two options.

In France Porsche insurance gave me a quote for my future Macan 4s at 1100 € / year while with my taycan it is 1800 € / year.

USAA $672 / 6 months for my 4S.

Insurance costs are a bit tough to compare since they vary based on vehicle model/value, annual miles driven, driving record, age, liability limits, deductibles, number of drivers/cars in household, home/other insurance bundle discounts, etc.

Oddly my eMacan insurance is significantly less than my Rivian. $148 less a month.

Been quoted £ 700 from Admiral in the UK and existing insurer NFU (much better cover) is £ 1,000. I have been refused by other insurers and also quoted £4,000 !

turned out to be a lil over $800/yr.
Kinda awesome cuz my wife's new Kia was only $700/yr...so i'm surprised how close they are in price

Man we have crazy rates in FL. Turbo quoted at the lowest at $350 a month with multi policy discount, no claims, clean history, 250/500.
