Old ice turbo kept me in the middle of the road. . The new ev turbo swings from side to side. No inno-drive drive on either. Is this normal? My dealer says it is, but I can’t believe they would make this worse.

My turbo sends me to both sides - I am the one to keep it in the middle of the road. No inno drive here either. Doesn’t bother me, really. But I never experienced the ICE version.

The good thing is if you come too close to the line of either side, a red warning line appears in your vision to control the car.

Macan ICE has active lane keeping option as shown below, but InnoDrive was never offered on Macan ICE models. I assume your Macan ICE had this option so it is actively keeping you in the center of the lane.

Macan EV must be optioned with InnoDrive that includes ALK or you are just having LKA that does not actively steer the car. Your only chance of getting ALK in the future is if Porsche opens up FOD for Macan EV. Currently, FOD is only open for original Taycan where you can add ALK and InnoDrive as separate for pay options assuming the car has ACC.

As mentioned above, LKA (Lane keep assist) is a passive safety feature that will bounce you between lane markings to warn you that you may be not paying attention or getting too close to a lane marking.

ALK (Active lane keeping) is an option that is currently only available along with the innodrive option that actively steers to keep you in the lane center.

Hopefully, as in the J.1 Taycan, ALK will be available as a standalone function on demand download for a fee, but that is not available as of now.

Since ALK requires the ACC hardware I don’t see it becoming available as a FOD.
But many must have chosen ACC functionality already. Now it's standard in most cars but an add-on option in Porsche.

the only thing i don't like, is that ALK is too hard. It really pulls the wheel back if you attempt to go over lines w/o using your signals... it's kinda annoying.

yah even when you try to take the exit ramp on the highway, lka will try to force you to stay on the highway

but maybe this is a feature not a bug, it will help me become a better driver and remember to ALWAYS use my turn signals 🤣

the "brutal" line keeping is mandatory by regulatory in Europe. Very annoying if drive "close" to the line. I always de-activate when I start driving (as well as the "beeep" speed limit warning)
I use the 3 columns display, select "more" then click on the very last line that is partially hidden at the bottom of the screen.

Kept me within the lines with hands on the wheel.

Lane keep assist has been super aggressive in my driving. On tight turns it will force me to outer edge of lane, not comfortable at all. Wondering it’s a calibration issue.

You can disable the lanekezping by long pressing the small button under the Cruise control stick. About 3 secs. You can see the effect on the screen behind the steering.
you will see « off » displayed (vert bottom of the screen)

I just turned mine off completely. So much better without it. The system isn't perfect, one time the camera didn't read the lines correctly (because here in the US they repaint the lines for road work or bridge repair; the old lines aren't always erased and that was when the car got confused and I had to fight the steering wheel to not crash into the car next to me. )
