and for those who were afraid that the charging door might be damaged by a passerby:

That picture alone makes me happy we chose the powered door!

Happy for you, for me it's the exact opposite.
And it's great we all have different opinions: what a boring life would be otherwise! Nothing to discuss about with a cold beer.

Indeed, have a full option Turbo on order but no powered charging flap, I gathered these manual flaps work for 50 years and on my iX it’s even bigger … first delayed deliveries are for failing sensor of the electric flap 🤷‍♂️

Macan EV to be delivered… or not

Not all of them: mine is delayed because of software, not its electric flaps…

Sport chrono is so nice!

As discussed today I took delivery of my Macan 4.

Simply the best experience with a car delivery of my life. Porsche Como has been amazing from welcoming (coffee and a nice talk with the big boss) to the delivery (with detailed instruction). Thanks again to Davide, my SA.

Just a short video since I haven’t taken a single pic (preferred to drive and I have to say it’s a pleasure to drive this car!!!).

I can’t stop! Sooner or later the charge will end but for now, everything is above my expectations (also the range).

I’ll take some picture tomorrow with the sun!!!

UPDATE:

Here first data based on my first 264 km done (two days)
Note: some "brutal" acceleration and some time spent playing with the infotainment with car on (so driving time and average speed are not correct).

Car (Rear/4/4S/Turbo): Macan4
Tyre Size: 21" rims with Michelin
Temperature (F/C): from 12 to 20°C - light rain
Wind Conditions No/Headwind/Tailwind:
Altitude change 0/+m/-m: round trip from 770meters to 300 and back
Road conditions Wet/Dry: almost dry
City/Highway: Local roads with limits fro 50 to 90 km/h
Average Speed (km/h Miles/h): 43 km/h (average of the two days) see details below
Average consumption (kWh/100km kWh/mile): 19,4 kWh/100 km (average of the two days) see details below
Predicted Range at 100%: not checked
Real Range at 100%: N.A.

PHOTOS UPDATE:

Unfortunately no mountain roads yesterday, just a quick visit to my parents-in-law (or rather, a good excuse to use the car ;)).
Some pic taken before leaving (and before the rain....)

Diego, Congratulations for this amazing “machine” and hope you enjoy and have many happy moments with your new car.

Please let us know when the “regeneration” starts working for the new Macan ? For example in the Taycan only starts working after the first 600kms !

thanks for sharing with us your experience and keep sharing ! 😉

It's neat, but anyone who charges at home most of the time (me, for instance) does not need the electric sliding port cover. Just my opinion.

That’s my case. In 100000km and 3 years with my Tesla I charges at home on 98% of times.

Agree. However, on the road with Electrify America chargers, connecting often requires both hands and a lot of space to connect - the cable is heavy and stiff, the connector is large (and slippery in the rain), and the cable length is often too short. I need all the space around the socket as open as possible. I remain a power door fan!

Great consumption Diego. Does your Porsche app save the data you post?
