we were told mulitple times these are "pre-production" "euro-spec" cars - keyfobs could very well be something that is different in customer/delivery/final production - they look very very different in person from the pictures on the North American configurator…

so I'm not sure if what we saw at the preview event represents what customers will receive with an actual delivery…

it will be one of those little details that we won't know until we know…Sept. 20th seems to be the date everyone is "hearing"?

here is a picture from the US Configurator of a Macan Key - so I'm wondering if what I held in my hand is "production" or just a place holder because these are pre-production vehicles…

Too new and Chinese makers have not get any Macan yet

Unfortunately after Trump election I deleted all my Chinese relationship otherwise I will not be admitted at the customs when I’ll be in California next January

yeah the key is a next generation type, different than the Taycan, probably a better shell design to change colors. I didn't see any 3rd party options out there as yet.

Yes, i was thinking the same thing too! coming from a BMW key this thing takes up a significant portion of my pocket.
