New 4S Roof Rattle

I'm about 4 weeks in on my Macan 4S EV (switched from Macan GTS) and love the car overall. My main irritation is a rattle from the moon roof, especially when going over rough surfaces. I've seen some mention of this on other posts, but not a solution? any known easy fixes on this or is it back to the dealer for me?

I'd schedule a dealership visit. If you can narrow it down that'd help them.

The only rattle that's "normal" is the passenger seatbelt when not fussed with. Anything else is unusual.

It's good to give them exact instructions on where it's coming from and how to replicate it, so they don't do the classic "we didn't hear anything".

What Frank said above but take a friend on a drive with you and videotape the behaviour and noise. It helps the avoidance of the “no fault found” report. Good luck!

Have the moonroof and not noticed any noise, definitely get it checked, as others have said, only rattle so far is the darn passenger seat belt

I saw this mentioned in another post on here but the passenger seatbelt issue can be resolved by pushing the clasp (the bit that goes into the car when someone sits there) to the top of the belt on the door pillar.

It holds in place and stops the rattle when there is no passenger. Works like a dream...

I have this issue. Vehicle in service now. Initially service advisor was hesitant to agree to the existence of the noise, I asked for a ride a long and it was acknowledged. I will post back once the vehicle is picked up to see what the repair was. I was told it would likely just be silicone spray and cleaning the tracks.
