I installed the Suncoast Porsche protection film on the A/C controls today. The instructions and stickers provided to help line up the film worked perfectly, and I'm a bit of a klutz doing things like this. I'll do the rear A/C panel tomorrow.

The PCM screens I'm not sure I need as much, since they are out of the way of daily scratching.

I hope so because the ones from Porsche and Suncoast are definitely overpriced!

Has anyone seen a screen protector set that is precut for the center screen configuration without the passenger display? I saw a cayenne listing that provides options for both with and without passenger display but assuming that won’t fit the macan ev. specifically looking for a matte set if they are out there.

With the set from Porsche itself you get four elements. However, I only need two pieces. Only for the navigation screen and for the air conditioning control in the front. I don't have climate control on the back seat. So the other two parts go in the trash. Too bad you can't buy the screens individually.

No it isn’t as it has been stated in the previous messages. Porsche one has 4 pieces and no protection for the main screen (behind the wheel).

Porsche original one has pieces for #2, 5, 6 and 8. In Porsche set piece #5 covers central and passenger but if you haven’t passenger display you can use #2

IMHO original set has a better quality (just seen one of this Ali set bought by a owner who is not on this forum and I can say the thickness of the film of the original one is better) but it’s pricey and it doesn’t cover all the area where you can have scratches.

Did the full vehicle Xpel and my installed also did the interior pieces in the same (Xpel Ultimate Plus) as well. Pretty pleased how it turned out as even the curved area at the bottom of the climate control panel got covered as well - something that a glass protector wouldn’t have been able to cover.

Having said that though, a PPF’d screen probably isn’t as ‘slippery’ as a tempered glass protector - but pro/cons to everything I guess. Don’t do much swiping gestures, so fine for me.
