Placed order today. Was given the option to wait for the first 2026, but will likely just get 2025, no real changes expected for 2026…. still have time to waffle between :)

Guesing but waiting for someone here to know specifically or Porsche to confirm, we will get notice of all 2026 changes in around June? Hope it is sooner than that.

Awaiting collection on 1 March (new reg)

I placed my order on the 6th January but the App says “we received your dream on 31st October”. In my case, it is because I took an allocation that the dealer had secured in Oct but then the client recently cancelled. It meant that my car is now built and “on its way” despite only being ordered 4 weeks ago. Perhaps that’s why yours is saying September ?

How is the Polestar 2?
I’ve had the Polestar for a week and it’s definitely not for me. The ride is really harsh and car is noisy. I may be being unfair coming from a Lexus RZ but it is harsher than any car I have previously owned. It’s a 2023 Long Range Single Motor with a realistic range of about 200 miles. The indicated range changes all over the place, start off with say 220 displayed, drive below 30 mph for a couple of miles and range drops to 200, then a mile or so later it goes to 190 and then 200. I‘m not complaining though as it’s only costing £ 22 / day including insurance but with a £ 2,500 excess.

Wait...do you mean there's a confirmed price increase of 4-5% scheduled to be applied after the end of March for Macan EV therefore any order beyond this date will be with the new increased price if no allocation prior to this date will be possible to be found?

...I see...My SA mentioned it a while ago but I thought it was something he said in his effort just to convince me to place my order sooner than I originally have scheduled,as a selling tool short of speak.
Seems like I have to reconsider my plans... Thing is I want definitely to avoid the car's delivery during all Summer as I'll be away till the end of August and I definitely would like to avoid a possibility for the car to be at the dealership for such a long time.

I don’t want to worry you, and I haven’t driven the Polestar 2, but I have to say the ride in the Macan EV can be relatively firm. I had an ICE Macan before, and it was definitely a comfier ride. I have 21” wheels btw.

I’m hoping the air suspension and only 20” wheels will mean it is a much more comfortable ride than the Polestar.

Interesting! Had always assumed some firmness since it’s a Porsche but I’m worried about my incoming 22” wheels now!

Quite a few have posted here that they are good with their 22”’s. A couple have said they are quite firm. The key issue is how are your roads. If a potholed mess, then 22’”s could be harsh. If average or good, you will be fine or even happy with your 22” wheels. I like a very firm ride (as thankfully does my wife) and am definitely getting 22”’s.

YMMV/

That’s a good summary. NYC roads are the worst I’ve experienced, so I’m good with my 21”. I do think 22” look the best 😀
