Plug and Charge - “try again”

I have been trying to change my Charging Settings (in the app) to allow Plug and Change but I keep getting the message telling me to "try again". I have followed all of the steps in the manual but must be missing something?

Yes, tried everything suggested. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the "please try again" response. Also I don't see any option to turn off P&C in the Privacy settings as some have suggested?

I ran into an initial problem even though on the Porsche app it had my certificate actual number. Seeing that collection of letters and numbers I was sure it would work but it did not. Then I called Porsche Tech line and they did something on their end so while I was watching the certificate letters/numbers changed to green lettering and the words “Certificate Installed.” Worked thereafter.

I had a similar issue with the same error message. I had to do a complete reset of the PCM in the car, and then it worked!

I had this exact issue for 2 months: after pushing Plug&Charge, random waiting, sometimes it seems to display the option button for installing certificate - see below- (but it disappears in less than 1/10e second, so no way to push it), and in the end, always the same notification « could not be activated ».

I’ve tried everything (full resets, reinstall the app, in several orders, change the payment mode etc) every week and one day, for no apparent reason, it worked…

The screenshot of this mysterious disappearing screen is below (I’ve managed to save it from a video recording of the failed process I’ve made on my iPhone!)

Plug and charge had never worked since my october Macan delivery .
I gave up after trying all the solutions...
Recently, I noticed that the informations on the app and the PCM had changed; I validated a certificate, etc...
My dealer also did the major update two days ago, coincidence?
I tried it this afternoon at Ionity Sisteron (where two out of four charging stations were out of service...) and it worked!!!

I was able first attempt, quickly and efficiently, to use Plug and Charge at a 350 amp EA charger this afternoon.

Had the dealer do a reset of all systems. Still doesn't work.
They tell me they will keep the car for a couple of days to work through same software issues.
I choose to live without Plug and Change for the time being. They can fix it when I'm in the shop for the next issue.

Just to make sure, when you go to Account, Charging Service in the app, does it show a subscription? That has to be there before it can do anything else related to plug&charge.
