My 4S is due to arrive in May. People have mentioned understeer being an issue a couple of times in this forum, and now in this review.

Any consensus on the matter? How hard do you need to be cornering for this to become an issue? Does it only happen when you’re really pushing it?

I have a North American 4S (air suspension) on 20 inch Pirelli Scorpion MS tires with RWS and PTV+.

What I notice during spirited but responsible driving is the weight and the inside rear tire feeling like it is lifting. I haven't pushed it enough to notice understeer. If anything it feels like a bit of oversteer. Otherwise composed on a variety of bumpy roads

From what I've read, I think the PTV+ contributes to the understeer/oversteer balance feeling.

I’ve done 1200 mile in my 4S - happy so far . Driven a base and Turbo and reckon 4S is sweet spot on 21 wheels but it handles better on Sport Plus suspension settings in Individual mode!

Nice! I also went with 21” wheels. Definitely see the 4S as the sweet spot for me - the turbo sounds super fun but my everyday driving is too chill to do it justice!

On public roads and sometimes accelerating out of a corner, the RWS option makes it feel even oversteer.
Maybe on a trac or if you really do not obey public speed limits and drive beyond responsible you can get understeer.
