I guess they are orange as Porsche decided with the MY26 to make their error messages look less critical . This was mentioned somewhere along the announcement of the GTS.

i do not think so. this member is complaining since 24 and as you can see this car has nearly 10.000 km. I wonder how / why he drove so much when the car is so bad?

I get it, sometimes it's not possible to replace the car during the lease term and Porsche is not willing to help with that. In fact they do anything possible not to do that and cover their base in case of a lawsuit (see the bulletin about front suspension cracking sounds - "it's by design")

I ordered a new GTS but it was after a very long back and forth with them involving a lawyer. Not everyone is willing to go there.

there are 3 warning colors: white, yellow and red. i have 2 macan ev(one is a turbo the other a 4s) we have never seen a red warning. we own the cars for one year.
only red requires to visit (drive to) the shop.

and: “I have a friend that…” said this and that haha.

other cars “die” on highways too. no?

I had two red warnings flash on my dash and disappear. What would you do with those? ignore too?

Those are red. It's telling him there's a chassis failure and to park his vehicle safely. The other one I can't tell what it is. One of my red one was the chassis failure as well, and the other had to do with the high voltage module. Sure it can be fixed under warranty. Just doesn't instill a lot of confidence that it won't happen again when warranty runs out. Especially when the error messages disappears and dealerships can't do anything about it. They download the errors and they say it's inactive, so therefore dealership does nothing.

So because the car is bad, he's supposed to keep it in the garage forever? I mean, doesn't really make much sense to not drive it at all and let it depreciate without even using it. Selling a car that's 1 year old is also not financially smart. Your car loses the most value in the first year. The sweet spot to trade it in or sell it is at the 3-years mark. Plus if your car is on a lease, you can't get out of it easily like TomekGnomek mentioned. They don't make it easy for you to get a fair trade.

a warning that appears for short time is not problematic. its a short anomaly. if porsche made a mistake here it is that this system is overly sensitive. (partially fixed in sw updates). these are information that nobody had 5 years ago. a slight missfire in cylinder 6? you would never know until the engine blows. a faulty shock absorber? you would never know until you spin off the rainy street. aso.

so: if the information goes away ignore it. if the information persists bring the car in. thats why you have warranty. its like any other product.

They are red, but there are also yellow ones! For the same subsystem error, Texts are slightly different between red or yellow.
Porsche keeps trying to solve it, and it still reappears after (random) km, with partial or total loss of power...

this is not acceptable. and not normal. bring the car in, demand a loaner. let them know you take it back only if they can fix it for good.
