I had model s 2021 for three years that I just returned after a three years lease last week.

Had my Macan ev turbo for a month now with the best 1500 miles in my life. The entire experience supercede all what you might think of as a negative or problem.

To be fair yes the quality of camera is not great however the Porsche has the bird eye 360 and an option to choose which camera to look in front or back and a front red line that tells you exactly when to stop which the Tesla does not have. I hit the wall in my garage with the Tesla dizzillions time. Now I fly in the garage with the Porsche knowing exactly where and when to stop. Also the Tesla had an inner cabin camera that wonā€™t let you take your eyes of the road let alone hold your phone while the Porsche doesnā€™t. In the Porsche while it is on autopilot I get to use the phone which is something I have been deprived of because of the Tesla.
The drive the handling and everything about the turbo is above and beyond.

So again after having my turbo for about four weeks I drove the model s back to the Tesla center to return it. What a difference!!!!! Everything in the Tesla is so so inferior. From the door handle to the buttons the seat belt the sound system. The biggest huge difference was the steering wheel. The Tesla steering feeling or feed back is dead compared to the turbo. I returned the Tesla and didnā€™t even look back.

Again both have same horsepower and acceleration but there is more to driving that speeding in a straight line.

Night and day difference. Let the Porsche dream continue and ever last!!!!!!

Wow, nice to know your experience.
You have upset many diehard Tesla cult fans who wouldn't hear anything against it šŸ˜œ
Quality aside, I would never go near a car with bare minimum inside, no stalks, no buttons, and just a giant iPad to play with when driving. Dangerous!!

My friend. I was one of those Tesla cult fans. Till recently when I felt I deserve better then a 100k Chevy quality fast car and also i realized that musk has disrespected and doesnā€™t care about his premium cars customers the model s and x !!!!

Cayenne e-hybrid, Model 3, EV Macan 4S on order

I have a Model 3, which I do like a lot. It felt zippier and more nimble than my base RWD Taycan. We have a Cayenne e-hybrid now which is just too big (although it is FANTASTIC on road trips). I think the size of the Macan is going to be just perfect.

X5 40i feels ponderous now when I switch back and forth. Still trying to mind meld with new Porshe logic for software controls after 5 Beemers, but it's getting easier the more miles I rack up.

I also have had the Macan EV Turbo now about 4 weeks, coming from a 2018 Model X 100D and two prior Model Sā€™s before that. Hands down this Macan is the better car and itā€™s not even close. (Iā€™ve also driven my sisterā€™s Model Y quite a bit as well). Much better handling, steering, ride, quieter cabin, smoother through rickety roads, Apple CarPlay, seats, and so on. Porsche definitely has problems with their software (Plug and Charge problems, charge scheduling confusion, date/time not updating), and the quality of their backup camera is unacceptable in 2024. But at the end of the day, I have to say Iā€™m super happy with the car, and for the first time in years, I find myself looking forward to going for a drive in the car.
