[UK] Porsche Connect & My Porsche

I’ve got various tickets in with Smart Mobility to resolve - I will keep the thread updated if there’s anything pertinent to others.

One thing they kept asking me to do was open the My Porsche app, shake it vigorously which should open the instabug reporting feature - I’ve tried this on two different iOS devices and neither offer this functionality.

Please could others try and advise if this works for them?

I did not tried the shaking thing but I did also report through instabug reporting feature. Just on the My Porsche app go to Account, then Contact and Help and done at the bottom "Report an Issue with this App"

Yeah I have got nothing under FAQ section, I also note that you are UK based and that all the customer support contact details reflect the UK where as mine reflect the USA.

Shaking my iPhone while in the app does nothing except make me feel silly.

Can't remember how to enable (perhaps during install) but if you click on 'Report an Issue with this App' (it may also mention you can shake (no need to shake vigorously, moderate shoogle will suffice)) which will then take you to the bug reporting screen.

'Rage shake' works for me (Android).

Yes it looks like for some reason I have the North American version of the application - this is confirmed by the contact telephone numbers and if I select Breakdown Call it references north america.

Odd, so delete and re-add. Using UK store.

Done several times, I’ve got no way of selecting which store as far as I am aware on iOS

That's odd but there must be something about your phone (origin?) or Apple ID which is forcing the US version - where is your accoubt registered?

No there is no VPN active on my phone, I’ve downloaded the app onto a different device and the same US features are present when logging in. Both app stores are confirmed to be UK, and I have confirmed that my Porsche address is all UK based.
