Order placed: October 21
Lock date: November 29
Start of production: December 10
Car off the assembly line: December 16
The car will arrive at the dealer on December 27

And the last update: the dealer called me yesterday to make an appointment for the delivery: January 8th I get the car!

Are the folks whose deliveries are delayed paying sticker for their cars? Mine was supposed to be at the dealer on Dec. 6th. I'm betting it'll be January before I see it. That's worth a discount to me.

I wouldn't pay sticker for a 4. For a 4S or Turbo you can certainly try but a lot of dealers have people waiting in the wings willing to swipe your car at MSRP.

Roughly yes, unless something happens.
(shortage of components, annual Summer close, etc)

That's actually good news for all parties. It's a 4S. If I don't get a discount I'm glad they'll be able to move it. Hopefully they do the right thing.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that man. A bunch of us had crazy delays, and I haven't heard of too many deals. At least 3 of us were on the verge of cancelling.

I was hoping that since my car was a '24 and I was getting it in Nov '24 they'd do something. But in their POV (understandable) it wasn't a stock build.

So if you built it, they are probably gonna be like take it or leave it. But keeping it 100 it's worth it.
