When did your 4S get to Emden?

Looks like Future Way is heading to Halifax and perhaps then Davisville. Usually a two week ride more or less.

Just got a pleasant surprise, received a TYD notice that my 4S has left Emden. Now to figure out what ship its on without resorting to calling the SA. Davisville is not scheduled on the VW car carrier export schedule until later in February. The Mavelous Ace is supposed to be going directly to Baltimore, perhaps a side trip? Perhaps is on the Fenture Way which is not a VW boat.

You can guess any ship but your SA should have all the details. My Taycan last month was not on a VW ship and one that isn’t on any of the lists that is on the Taycan or Macan forums for tracking. My SA gave me the name and I was able to track it various vessel tracking sites.

Oh it’s been 3 days at port. Glad it left as my ship Marvelous Ace was waiting for the space for over a day.

I should be making that ship to Baltimore!​

You seem very knowledgeable about this process. My 4S has been at Emden since the 9th waiting to go to Port Benicia. Any guesses on what ship might take it there? I've tried the suggested techniques in this forum but I don't see anything.

It’s just a waiting game. My Taycan last year sat at Emden for practically a month before it was assigned a ship. This was last November. Final destination was Benicia but once it gets assigned a ship, my SA let me know the name and I just tracked it online. The app doesn’t get updated often.

I'm no expert, as an engineer, things like this are interesting.

The best source of info is your SA, but he would probably not know the ship until the car is assigned to it.

In my case, the next scheduled Davisville drop off was the end of February. But I received the notice that my car left Germany so I looked for ships that left port about that time and were headed to North America. Future Way is not on the posted VW schedule, but I found it has been used often to deliver Porsches. Its one of the newer boats.

So its a waiting game.

I’m glad I didn’t ask for the ship name or else that vessel tracking website would’ve probably been my homepage during the duration of that voyage

Instead I only thought about my car maybe once or twice during its one month journey

Mine was docked to Benicia in CA on 1/23/2025.(RCC Europe) My SA said it would take more than a week to complete jobs at the port. Thus, I can see my car in the next month.

How long does it take to get Portland OR from Benicia CA?

Mine was also on RCC Europe. My dealership is Porsche Walnut Creek which is only about 30 miles from Port Benicia. My SA said it’s expected to arrive at the dealership on 1/31, but could potentially arrive sooner. Fingers crossed. I hope yours makes a swift trip to Oregon!

Got confirmation that my Macan 4 is on its way to my dealership in the Netherlands.
Ordered back in August with an expected delivery date early December. So, more or less 2 months later then expected...

it’s estimated to be a the dealers 1st week of Feb - then it’ll be the long wait until the 1st March until I actually get it
