Wondering about the GTS Suspension.

Same wheels?

Yes, all 3 cars I tried had 22" wheels with air suspension. The 4 and 4S felt 'the same', teh GTS felt firmer, enough to notice. I asked the sales person whether I could soften the ride (my M5 has a 'comfort' mode), but he said 'normal' was the softest. I tried the 'offroad' setting, but it did not seem to make much difference, and by then my wife had noticed the difference. The GTS looks nicer in my view, I wanted it to be "perfect", but the ride was not right for our daily use, so I've ordered a 4S.

Just to also confirm, I drove the exact same route in the GTS then the 4S back-to-back, weather had not changed, so I think it is fair to say (and some expected it so) that the GTS has a firmer suspension setup.

I guess, if it is going to be for daily use, you won't be going for 22" wheels.

Well, I do like the look of the 22" wheels, and on the 4S with air suspension, the ride is very nice - even on UK roads. So I have in fact included them !

@aks Thanks for this, great insight! Ordered mine with 21" and I wonder how much will it impact the ride quality - the 22" was a bit too much on the GTS.

I ordered the 21s, personally prefer that size on the macan aesthetically and hoping for better ride quality on uk roads, GTS was actually cheaper than the 4s with the equipment i wanted so hopefully I made the right choice over the 4s. Having seen the standard gts wheels now in pictures/videos now, they look better than the configurator.

Yes pricing was very close either way for me too, but I couldn’t get a GTS without 22” wheels to test drive.
