While we will keep my C8 Z06 as a special events, super toy, our daily driver will always be an EV. Got hooked via an interim RAV4 plug in hybrid (37 miles EV legit range), but when our daughter ”needed it” — for she drives just 8 miles each way to work, we got our iX. Our iX, when its lease is over, will be replaced by a Porsche EV.

We will likely always have an EV, I enjoy it as a daily, but I have zero desire to go completely EV.
We have a diesel F450, gas Yukon road-tripper, Z06, some classic muscle cars, etc. So an EV fits the daily drive needs, it can’t replace the others.

Agreed. I’ve driven an EV as my primary car since 2013 and won’t go back. Nevertheless, we would never be an all EV household since our ICE car is more convenient for long distance trips.

I keep a 24' vette z06 alongside my macan ev turbo, just in case we have a zombie attack. seems appropriate.

My first electric vehicle is my Macan 4, and I’m not missing an ICE car at all. I still have my SQ7 V8, which I affectionately call ‘Gozilla’ for a good reason,LOL. I think the SQ7 will be my last ICE car.

Postscript on my comment above, is that IF I sell my current C8 Z06 Corvette (have had one Corvette at a time for five decades, almost always one per generation), I could envision selling it for a C9 (or will it be a C10) Z06 all electric Corvette.

I have even been offered an allocation for very early C8 ZR1 (1,064 HP, ICE, tons of fun madness) and have turned it down. Not buying another ICE vehicle — though again highly probable keeping our current ICE C8 Z06 forever.

Yes I would replace with ICE. Macan 4 EV range no where near claimed by Porsche. Never got more than 200 miles to date.
The only reason I replaced my ICE Macan for EV was for the generous tax break in the UK.

Replaced ford explorer and escape with Volvo XC 40 and the Macan 4. Don’t miss the smell or maintenance. Infrastructure is good here so no concerns about range. Living the dream 😁

I do not miss shady characters at some gas stations, nor getting out of one’s ICE and stepping on gum or into diesel fuel on the pavement.

When you get a loaner ICE Macan or Cayenne from Porsche, you'll notice how bad they actually drive. I'm dreading this loaner Cayenne I have.. it has plenty of power but the pedal lag is horrible.

We have two EVs including the Macan 4. The 2 year old Solterra was out of commission with a bad 12V battery for a week, luckily under warranty.

However, the feel of an EV, convenience, elimination of oil changes, charging in our garage and from the sun (most months). Successful long road trip with multiple charging stops through rural Indiana

Oh, and no recently introduced ICE stall behavior at stops.

No intention of going back.

I would just rent a ICE car for road trips until EV range gets better
