Macan Turbo Electric ordered!
Country flag
I was dead sure there was a topic for this but couldn't find it... so here goes.

I've finally firmed up my configuration. Lock day is just a few weeks away but I'm done tinkering with the specs.

Porsche Macan Turbo Electric - Code PRBZ88E2
Delivery scheduled for October.
  • Ice Grey Metallic
  • Leather package in Black/Chalk
  • 21" Macan Turbo Wheels
  • Sports Chrono Package
  • Rear Axle Steering
  • InnoDrive

Electric Macan EV Placed your Macan EV order? Post your configuration! 🙋🏻‍♂️ PRBZ88E2_side

Will still try to get the "Model Designation on Rear and "electric" Logo on Side" removed, don't have the option to in the US configurator but exists in other countries (option code 0NA).

Kept the options to a slim $6.3k, half of that for performance related items.

What about you?

If you are not able to pave the way here for ll of us in the U.s., , I will do as I almost always do even on my daily drivers, that is to get out my Goo Gone and line strong but thin fishing line and remove the front fender badging.

I dislike badging because getting dirt/dust out from between the small lettering is a royal PIA. Plus I really like the clean look.

Same on the clean look… plus having people guessing what’s under hood (figuratively on the EV). 😏

My rep just informed me he can’t get the 0NA deletion code through… so they will take a look at it once they receive it, or I’ll try myself with your advice. Thanks!

Thanks much for trying. Unfortunately, some Porsche marketing leader decided that we in the U.S. needed to retain the ”electric” badge.

The two keys I have found that have avoided complications in emblem/badging removal are patience, for it takes several minutes for the Goo Gone to soften the factory adhesive, and second and more importantly, to avoid use of even a plastic trim or pry tool. Re the pry tool usage, for every reaction we know there is an opposite reaction, and if one jams in the pry tool and prys up on the underside of the emblem with it with too much upward force upward, that can cause the underside of the pry tool in counter-reaction dig into and cause body panel creases and/or paint damage.

Instead, when the emblem is not coming off readily, I apply a second Goo Gone application (need not be much either time) and wait three or even five minutes before re-using the fishing line a second time. Lastly, sometimes with patience even a strong dental floss, being used in a “sawing back and forth” motion through the softened factory adhesive, will remove the badging fairly easily.

Porsche Macan 4 Electric - Code PRVZLCN5
Delivery scheduled for Sept/Oct.
  • Dolomite Silver Metallic
  • Standard Black/Chalk-Beige interior

  • Premium Pack with 18 way sports seats, Bose, LED Matrix, Vent seats.
  • Rear Axle Steering and power steering plus

So this is more of a max range build hence the Mac 4 with the 20" tires. Really wanted the sport carbon fiber steering wheel and all items on the premium pack. I will get the innodrive on subscription and buy if i like it. Surround view, tow hitch, roof rails, 115v, and rear wipers makes my wife happy so its a family deal ready for the BC camp site scene.

PR469WM6 Here is mine! Freeze date was July 2nd for a supposedly Sept 28 delivery in Chicago area:

Porsche Macan 4 Electric -
  • Ice Grey Metallic with all glossy black trims
  • 20" Macan Wheels
  • Sports Chrono Package
  • InnoDrive
I will say, tough call on the Ice Grey vs Aventurine Green for me. Ice Grey does NOT show well on the configurator, nor on YouTube videos! You just have to see it in person. And when I did, no question about it! Its a great color.

I went with high gloss black around the windows, really not convinced by Turbonite there. Saw it at the NY Auto Show and while it’s nice inside the car, pretty cheap outside.

Was also going to get the roof rails but going for a “cleaner” look instead.

It looks really good, especially without the side logos!

Mind you, in Jersey in the US, there are no taxes on EV so it would be $94k and that’s it!

That’s why I wrote “nice to see…” I was ironic 😉. With VAT my config is 115k€ (but Tesla MX would cost me 108k€ with VAT and it’s too big and with another “appeal” to me).
I had to take some decision between budget and performance/features and look. Received some criticism for not having chosen full leather (“it looks so cheap”). It’s my first Porsche and will be my daily drive for 3000 km a month so its not a 911 with full specs.

Completely got it! My point was just that in most states, there are sales tax to pay on top of the price shown in the configurator. But some, like Jersey, don’t. You know where to order your next EV. 🙃

I also “only” got the Leather Package (not the full version) and think it’ll be good like that. Nice config!
