There's no difference in the standard features for the 4 (at least in Italy)
Yes, I did the same thing. I want to swap. I should have waited.

What is the Porsche policy on changing if your order is not locked yet? Thanks Would like to change to the 4S.

For sure! My post is more meant for people uncertain what to do. The 4S is the safest trim to order in terms of value/depreciation/performance.

The 4 is still a great car, especially with the now updated standard features. *for NA.

I'd urge anyone with a MY24 4 to switch it to either a MY25 4 or 4S. The MY24 is already obsolete, IMHO.
Not sure I follow you on this. The car is not out yet so I am not sure what you are talking about MY24 vs MY25. My order is MY25 which I get in Sept. Was there even an MY24?

For this case? We don't know.

But allocations are by trim, so a 4 and 4S allocation are two different things. Ordinarily you'd have to cancel your allocation and then find a new one.

Talk to your SA. We don't know yet if Porsche will handle it different here.

Thank you Frank. I have asked. He is waiting to see if they have a 4S allocation. I told him I would wait but I am sure they would rather not have the cancellation.

Very curious as well, the rendering is weird.
YES- very cartoonish. Slate Gray (non) Neo has always looked great- but the addition of the 'NEO' could mean almost anything. :)

I currently Have a Taycan 4S and a Defender 90. Prior to the Defender I had a Macan GTS in Chalk. I have owned far more cars than I'd care to admit but will say that the Macan GTS was perhaps the most 'perfect' car that I have owned- the right size, the right performance, the right level of utility. Although I love both my Taycan and my Defender, I could be tempted to work my way down to one car and it would be a Macan 4S EV. Question is whether it would be Ice Gray or Slate Gray! Potential temptation of Aventurine to make it interesting. :)

PS- the Slate Gray Neo on the Panamera configurator is MUCH LIGHTER than it is on the Macan configurator. GO FIGURE (Pun intended!)

Macan 4S would be a nice replacement of the Macan GTS! Going Ice Grey personally, loved that color on the Macan since the official presentation of the car. It’s gorgeous!

My build sheet, lock date late July for a delivery in October, says MY24.

Does yours say MY25?

So..my paperwork says MY24 but they told me since my production starts after the retooling for 2025 finishes I would be getting my25. Anyway I now don’t believe they know so I am assuming it’s going to be a MY24 even though I will likely not get the car until Oct or maybe November because it will not even be built until August 23. Funny I had the same thing happened when I got a model Y as I really didn’t know what I was getting until I got the Vin number
