Has anyone noticed the cars sitting at the dealerships that the window sticker says "Launch Vehicle"

These cars are well-optioned but they don't seem like they are selling! Maybe the discounts/lease deals will come sooner than we think!

Since mine was ordered, it does NOT show "Launch Vehicle" on the window sticker.

Would you rather have a Macan 4 with 25k in options or a bare bones Turbo? I'd take the Turbo!

Maybe these highly optioned cars will help hold the resale / lease return values!

My SA told me Porsche is not letting dealerships sell launch vehicles before 60 days. They need to be sitting at the dealership for people to see after the launch

At the dealership here, they decided to sell their launch/demo Turbo variants due to how long of a waitlist they had. But they kept the demo Macan 4s. So either they ignored the 60-day rule or it's more of a suggestion.

In UK my SA said their demo vehicles are provided by Porsche and they don’t have any choice in spec. He suggested they were loaded with options to help sell the options as once you had seen them you would want to spec them too.

Never heard of a 60 day rule.. that sounds ridiculous.

Has anyone seen a Macan EV on the road yet? I haven't seen a single one.

It's quite normal for all manufacturers to do this. And why is it ridiculous? How can people get to see examples of a new model if they don't have any sat in showrooms? And not just new models. Dealerships need to have stock in for two reasons: to have physical examples of cars so people have an idea what they're buying; and also some people don't want to wait and want a car now, so inventory needs to be kept to a certain level.

In italy if they decide to put a plate on the car they can not sell it before 6 months. If the car has no plate (or registration) they can sell it today.

Ok, I was unware that launch vehicles were demo cars. I thought launch vehicles were for the early adopters.
