I was very happy to take delivery of my Macan Turbo EV four weeks ago after putting down my deposit 3 years ago. This is my 3rd Macan. I have been very impressed until this week. I experienced two episodes on two separate days of a series of rotating random alerts that kept cycling over and over again (pictures attached). In the first instance I was able to continue to drive. The issue resolved only after leaving the car parked for 10 minutes. The 2nd instance occurred the next day and in this case the car would not start. Once again, it resolved after about 10 minutes. The car has now been at the dealership for the last four days presumably undergoing troubleshooting. No word on when it will be resolved.

I am assume the issue is either faulty software or a faulty software update. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Macan EV to be delivered… or not

It seems to be related to the hardware, it could be a sensor sending erratic messages...

But the problem is that it seems no one is capable of analyzing the car's logs at the dealership. So it takes several back and forth with Porsche AG to find the real hardware problem by reading the logs...

Yesterday, I received a vehicle lighting warning. Today, I got a message saying the front trunk is open and to take the vehicle to service. After turning the car off and waiting for 5 minutes, I haven’t experienced any issues. I’m not sure if I should take it to service. Any advice?

I do see the Assistance systems error a lot these days. It either clears by itself, or I have to wait for the next drive. That said, I have a pending software issue with my dealership, they've delivered my car with an outdated Android version (discussed here).

For anyone interested in the progress on this issue, my new Macan Turbo has now been residing at the dealership for a week and a half, or….in other terms, 30 % of my ownership to date has consisted of the car not being available to me. The multiple rotating sensor alarms remains unresolved and Porsche AG has no idea what the source of the issue is, although it certainly points to a software coding issue. They have acknowledged that at least one other Turbo is experiencing the same issues so maybe it is restricted to the Turbo variant. The only progress that I can report is that Germany has requested that the dealership keep racking up miles on the car as they replicate the issue without identifying the source of the problem.
