Ok, now that a lot of us has taken delivery, what options you would’ve / should’ve gotten, and what options you wouldn’t spend on next time (for your ‘28 Macan EV GTS). Perhaps this helps your future self and/or some of the community who’s still shopping.

For me:
- The passenger display is almost never used.
- Haven’t used the rear seat heating either. Knowing what I know now, its probably a huge drain on the battery
- I should’ve gotten the 22” RS Spyder’s painted gloss black.
- The blacked out headlights and rear logo look really cool but probably not worth the money.

Don’t miss the rear wiper.
Kids love the heated rear seats.
Love the spider with gray wheels.
Like the all wheel steering

-Burmester would have been nice, but I actually think the Bose is quite good and I’m a audio snob (use stereo mode, surround is awful)
-Acoustic glass? Haven’t been in a vehicle with it, but I’m assuming it would be quieter.
-Wish I didn’t have the rear wiper, reduces rear visibility and looks ugly.
-22 spider wheels. I have the 22 carbon wheels, they’re fine, but the spiders give me more classic Porsche vibes.
-full interior leather (I miss the stitching on the arm rests and the leather in the center grab handle area which feels quite plastic’y)

Agree, and I didn't get any of those, except laser matrix headlights in blue, instead of just matrix. Additional cost was £329.
I will add one more, interior package in carbon was unnecessary too. It cost additional £1019. In my view, it doesn't stand out as much as I thought it would. The carbon design is slightly different to the ICE Macan which looked better.

My main regret is out of my control; the colors.

I really wish Porsche had offered a wider/more interesting variety of exterior/interior colors. I always told myself I'd go an exciting combo for the electric Macan but it's really lacking exciting colors. Even Oak Green/Provence/Papaya are pretty subdued for the "flashy" colors.

I find the ICE Bose louder better, but I only really listen to golden-era boom-bap hip hop.

I would have opted for beige leather interior instead of chalk. Early on, the configurator showed stitched door panels and I naively assumed this to be correct. More leather inside would go a long way toward helping the cheaper plastic bits.

-Rear window shades - completely not necessary.
-Should have added gloss window trim, but okay without it on a 4
-probably would not have optioned black led lights or rear Porsche logo if done again, didn’t make enough of a difference for the expense, imo. I thought the black LED option was more than just color.

Happy otherwise, just wish some of the tech would get sorted and work correctly.

Re OP alvaro’s comment that the passenger display is almost never used, we have seen pictures of a gloss black, empty screen area, and yet the below picture. When the car without this option is on, is that area completely blank (ready for fingerprints, dust and nothing else), or does it always have the word “Macan” lit up there all the time? Thanks.

agreed on rear shades.

and cargo net. The stuffed it a bag in the rear side hold I had no idea what it was at first.

I think the blackened logo would’ve looked better on a black car. On my ice grey one guy walked by and said ‘man, the new mustang is sick!’

There are no words on a car optioned without the screen. The actual dash is slightly different with whatever door insert material chosen actually filling a small area below the vertical piano black space.

What you are seeing is the passenger display in a standby kind of mode.

This has the passenger screen, but shows Macan when no one is sitting in the passenger seat. Works the same way in my Taycan.

The passenger screen can alternatively be changed to be completely off when there is no passenger as well.

I am mostly happy with my spec although I might add the comfort package next time, only because I keep unlocking the frunk instead of the car with the key and with the comfort package it would unlock when I approach the car. Then again the comfort package, just like the electric charging doors might be annoying during car washing as the Macan has no car wash mode.

After spending 2 months configuring my Macan 4 I have to say that I'm quite fully satisfied of the result. Maybe the only thing I would have changed (but there was no option at the time my order has been frozen) is the color. Love blue Porsche but not the one offered at the beginning. But Vulcano grey is wonderful.
I dont' miss: rear wiper, passenger screen, full leather, massage seats, everything about the rear seats (no one sit there usually) and Turbo power (in Italy there are too many speed trap nowadays...)
Love: Bose sound system (after a "warm up" time), open roof (even if I didn't use it so much but it adds a lot of light inside the car), 18 position seat with Porsche logo illuminated, 21" Macan wheels, all weather mats, acoustic window, sport sound, air suspension, Chrono pack .
Can be better: data analysis and APP features, software in general, park assistant (it only works with other car already parked).
Hate: (but it's not Porsche fault) speed limit warning and "aggressive" lane keeper always on at startup (even if you can turn it off)
