I’m absolutely loving my Macan 4 EV! While there are a few minor quirks I can overlook, the sun visor has been a major disappointment. When swung to the driver’s side window, it doesn’t even reach my head. And since it doesn’t extend (which you’d expect in a $100,000 vehicle), it’s practically useless.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to replace the sun visor with an aftermarket one that includes an extension feature?

As crazy as it sounds, no matter how awesome this car is (when I finally get it), this visor issue is the one thing my wife will definitely not stop talking about. It's a huge pet peeve of hers and one of the greatest things she loves about our MB GLS.

I can understand not equipping with a dual visor system, but it's pretty ridiculous Porsche can't install a standard visor that extends.

I agree the visor is too short and not extendable it's really annoying. I was also looking for something aftermarket

Another small defect is the fingerprints that remain on the displays

I think I've used this sub-feature of the sun visor twice in my life 🙈 Hopefully some of the other aspects of the car will make up for this disappointment.

Oh, I still love the car. I churn through cars pretty regularly and this is the first I've had in the past 10+ years that didn't extend.....

It does seem to be common in Audi/Mercedes/BMWs, I didn't know! See it as a weight saving measure, for performance reasons 😄

We were doing a north - south ride and were really feeling the lack of an extendable sun visor in the afternoon. I found this and it works. Actually better than an extendable visor. I tuck it behind the seat when not in use (99% of the time).

Not happy to hear this! I'm waiting on my Macan 4. My Ford Explorer 2021 has extending visor. Jeez.

You could try a Slap-On Sun Visor:
https://transair.co.uk/aircraft-air...essories/cockpit-sun-visors/slap-on-sun-visor
and also:
https://www.sportys.com/slap-on-sun...X_gudpel4hYVsMpFlZIYYxavU92-wij5K6c8m0Vm2QuIZ

I used it on my plane and it always did the job.

Their price is negligible and easily stowed away when not needed, without permanent or semi-permanent attachments on the original sunvisor. They come in several sizes,if you google it you'll gonna find even more designs.

Are you sure you can’t pull the sunshade towards the rear once it is pivoted to the side? I’m not taking delivery for another month so I can’t check, but that’s how other VAG cars work.
