Did another 500km yesterday on a highway and couldn't detect any smoke or burning smells. Wonder if I should notify the local service center or wait for a repetitive issue?!
While driving, did you have the clima ON? I think it may be related to it… I noticed it when it was set to 25 degrees Celsius at any speed.

I believe that if you stop by your dealer they may not know what to tell you. I wouldn’t feel safe anyway to drive a car that does smoke and smells of burn… especially it’s an electric car…

They couldn't find anything wrong. They said is most likely the AC due to high temperature. I doubt it's that but I hope they are right.

I have the final update. Open your hears guys!

I’m not going to have back my car.

“A component is missing due to lack of raw materials and will take months before your car will be repaired”… a super bullshit that will basically cover the fact that there is a defective component that MUST be rebuilt from scratch.

Now I’m pretty mad… I can’t get my money back and I don’t want to spend min 20K more to buy a Cayenne or whatever else…

Thanks for your feedback!

This sounds like a major issue to me. If it would have been something non critical (like a problem with aircon), I assume they would've given you the car back and just let you wait for the new part to be available. Sounds like a potential recall.

@piter95 did they gave you something like a case / incident number or something like that? Something that others could reference to when reporting the same issue to their seller?

oh you should def be able to get your money back. I don't know how the lows are in your country, but this would be a easy case in arbitration.
get that information from the warranty, and start that process now. They've already had you car over the time that would justify it being a lemon

That's ridiculous... Smells like a PR disaster if this is not the only case.
It doesn’t seem being the only case… if it was, they would have replaced the faulty part… instead they said there is no part available… which I highly doubt it’s the truth… if it is the truth will mean that the production line is stopped at the moment. It’s unbelievably ridiculous.

I think their factory is using just in time part planning. So the fact that the part is not available to you doesn't mean that that part is not available at all.
I would be very interested in what part they are actually talking about.
