Do we know the precise build week/date that the Macan EV changed to a 2025 model year?

No, but I guess it was in August 2024.

I ordered mine in September and if I recall correctly my SA said the change over was in November. The vehicle was released in the US in September as model year 24 so that kind of makes sense.

My Turbo is a couple of weeks away from delivery here in NZ, is a 2025, and does have an 'S' as the 10th character on the VIN. It was produced on 17 Nov 2024. I believe the 2024 model year cars have an R in the 10th character position.

Just checked my VIN and it has an “S” in the 10th position. It was built in December per my SA. Despite all this we have not been able to answer the OP question.

I don’t have the exact date but I believe the changeover for the MY 2025 Macan EV was in mid October 2024. My 2025 4S was in one of the first US allocation batches to be produced and it completed manufacturing on October 24th.

MY24 cars seemed to have had a very short run. Anyone know when the official start date was for MY24 cars before production of MY25 started after the August shutdown?

I doubt there will be any significant MY26 changes. Maybe they offer a couple new colors, but that's probably the extent of it.

MY26 likely won't be produced until October at the earliest, with a MY26 configurator not shown until just before then.

I agree that few changes but speaking of colors, personally hope for the addtion of Carmine Red (or a metallic red) and for the interior additional option of chalk/black. One more 21” wheel option please.

I was wondering that myself, as I have a 2024. It seems like the announcement of the production start was made on Jan 1st, 2024, which would have normally been July/Aug 2023, putting them six months behind. I realized that and could have deferred to July/Aug 2024 to get a 2025 MY but I could not wait (especially since I sold my Tesla and had limited other transport options). Anyway, glad I did not wait because I really enjoyed getting one of the first ones.

Porsche typically changes to the next model year right after the summer holiday shutdown for most of the lineup. I think the Macan EV launched later than expected, and delayed the changeover from ‘24 to ‘25.

Porsche model year (MY) for all models and variants begins and ends in the summertime - end July - when the configurator gets updated too. New MYs will ship for September delivery.

All Macan EVs produced so far for public use will be MY25 regardless of region / destination.
