Any OTA Software Updates pushed yet?

Am I right in thinking that the Macan is capable of OTA updates? If so, have any been pushed down as yet?

I’ve not had my 4S long, but was wondering if anyone who has had one for longer had seen any evidence of an update yet.

we do not know the level of possible OTA updated - i’ve gotten map updates and youTube access - nothing else that is noticeable to date

Interesting, reading this forum and others. There’s a world of good an update(s) could seemingly potentially do. Will be interesting to see the cadence at which they start to get pushed out, if they do.

We’re talking about Porsche tech cadence, so I would guess one per generation of Macan EV.
Don’t launch a website about Porsche firmware upgrades, except if it’s a static one

Not to my knowledge, no.

OTA updates were very limited anyway and usually linked to PCM functionality as opposed to drivetrain modification.

legacy automakers will claim hardware restrictions.. they want to sell you the new model. Rivian / Tesla / Lucid sales model is to make existing vehicles better with software updates will unlikely be adopted by legacy auto until theyre close to being irrelevant, which will be unfortunately too late. IMO.

They haven’t invested billions of dollars… yet.

The news release from November 2024 says they plan on investing this amount by 2027.

Next-Gen Macan/Taycan, potentially the upcoming ‘K1’ platform too.

I’d imagine Cayenne EV and Boxster/Cayman are too far down the line in developmental terms to implement benefits from this deal, however I’d like to be shown to be wrong.
