Ordered without the prewired dashcam option and looks like it might be hassle to go with other aftermarket options if wanting parking mode. Hoping the lack of solution so far is due to the newness of the car but worse case I will settle for no park mode and go with a FitCamX.

It was only a $150 option here in Canada but i was trying to avoid a second tier of taxes that I won't waste any of the member's time with.

Kind of wished I had the 4s. 😅😅. But hey, I do love my 4 just fine. No! More power. It's ok Duke, the 4 has pep just fine! NO NO NO! We want MORE POWER!

OK clearly I am conflicted. 😅

On actual specs, part of me wished I got rear axle steering. Turning radius ok but more would be nice.

Can't think of anything I got I wish I didn't. Probably will never use the self parking, but I use the 360 view every day and it's a package...fiendishly clever, Porsche, bundling an essential feature that even super cheap cars have now with an expensive feature!
Same changes I might have made. Having said that though, Mac 4 as equipped kicks plenty of butt, and it is a great vehicle.

Comfort Access (keyless entry) - think I must have missed the box - :(
I had comfort access in my previous car but as I always kept the key in a Faraday pouch, I found I still have to take the pouch out of the pocket, and then open the pouch to use it.
This time I deliberately didn't take the Comfort Access option as I thought it defeats the purpose if I'm going to use a Faraday pouch.
My SA also recommended avoiding Comfort Access, for less chance of getting stolen if someone hacks the signal.

I got Macan 4 with premium package volcano grey, black porsche logo on back, electric badges on side, painted side blades.

Not waiting for the 4s,
Not getting sound profile,
Not getting better wheels, got base wheels. Besides that car runs great looks good. Zero issues 1500 miles.

I bought base wheels. Smaller rims equal longer range and don’t affect handling significantly. They look pretty good with my color, Ice Grey.

I’m glad I optioned rear wheel steer as well, but it’s a bit early to be definitive here.

I’d forgo the rodent damage to a wiring harness that my Macan experienced somewhere during shipment. That “option” is unneeded.

We hope all your transit rodent damage has been fully restored to perfect — or if not yet, it would be very soon.

In transit damage affects 1% of transported vehicles; this percentage holds true from Ferraris to entry vehicles. Sorry you were the 1%.

Heated windscreen is a good option. I have turned it on a few times. Even after precondition the car, I found the windscreen gets misty during driving. So, using it a few minutes has worked well.
Do you see any embedded heater lines in the window? I mean any visible difference at an angle or in bright sunlight? I opted out of it for fear of seeing some weird reflection or visual lines. This was one of those options that I think I would have to actually physically see and try before opting for it.

Have not noticed any, but radar detector seems a bit quieter (false or early warnings) in Mac than X5.

I have heated windshield. I have not noticed any heater lines (and I'm pretty sure there are none.) There is a slight odd tint however. I hadn't noticed but my wife pointed this out when we were driving down the highway after a recent snow storm. The trees were all covered with snow and it was beautiful, but my wife observed that the snow had a slight grey appearance through the windshield compared to looking through the side windows. There is a small area on either side of the rearview mirror for placing toll readers and if you look carefully you can see this area is free of the tint.

Although I live in New Hampshire, I have not actually had to use the heated windshield feature yet because my car is garaged. I ordered it because of my how long it takes to clear the windshield of a snow/ice covered car with a normal defroster. Aside from the gray tinge, my other disappointment in the feature is that it appears that it can only be on together with the max defroster fan setting; if you try to lower the fan speed with the defroster on, it looks like it shuts off. I am sure that the first time I actually need to use it I will appreciate it.

Also in NH. It works nicely to clear our legendary ice crust. Took the car out in a couple snow events and gave it a whirl after it was parked and had crusted up.

Was not that thick, way less than with hot air only though. Can't remember the actual time unfortunately.

None whatsoever. No wires visible on this Porsche. It’s an internal coating or thin film of some sort, probably a gel. Basically invisible.

I think I have this … how do you activate it?
