I received this ominous error message after a short drive to the store. This message came up when I attempted to drive back home. I could drive home ok but the error message is pervasive and now the car won’t charge. Anyone else see this error?

Unless it's persistent and returns a couple of times I learned not to bother.
I've had that several times along with a red warning to stop driving due to this.
Usually goes away on itself.
Dealer is clueless, I'm sending pics like that every other week.
Hope I does not catch fire some day after such warning.

I had the same warning last week and took it in to the dealer. They came back with this yesterday:

“Drove vehicle into shop, no warning lights present. Performed pre val - found code B17E0F0 - Charging socket 2 (UX5), charging plug not locked as a current code. Charged vehicle and code became history code. Cleared it and charged vehicle a couple more times, no fault codes came back. Recommend making sure vehicle is fully plugged in with factory charger and customer hears click noise ensuring latch is secured. Monitor condition.”

I did get this and posted in another thread (was associated with a charge plug not locked error after charging ). Service at the dealership said to lock the car and take the key out of distance for 25 minutes. The car resets itself. Come back and it is gone. I did take it to the dealer service anyway and they saw it in the log but it “inactive” meaning it was not traced to any persistent issue. They cleared the log and off I went (I have not seen it since). That was a few weeks ago

Yeah. I was using the "TeslaTap Mini" as my J1772 adapter (I use a Tesla wall charger), and had been using it fine for a while. But the adapter does not lock itself onto the end of the Tesla side of the cable, and likely my wife didn't double check to make sure it was seated properly. I switched to a Lectron adapter, which does lock itself onto the cable.

Close the car wait 5 minutes and if it’s away it‘s an error that is triggered by an error on the network … I had it once and when at the dealer, they decided to keep the the car, that turned into 4 weeks until they found the unit causing the network issue, in my case it was the e sound module, once prefaced all was well …

I had error messages like this and more happening when i hosed off the car. After that i air dried the water off and then these messages appeared. They stayed on while i was in the car for about 10 minutes. I decided to walk away to make sure the car locks and shuts down. after coming back 1 minute later all went way.
