Update:
Been shown couple of Macans, Taycan and a GT3. All had the same issue with the doors. It's the way they close... With a bit of force. The air can't escape properly unless you crack a window open. I asked if they can reprogram the window so it drops a bit more when you open/close the doors but they declined. The only solution is - soft close doors which the macan doesn't offer - you need to go Cayenne or Panamera.

Thanks for the update! I remember test driving a 992.1 and having the same issue. I do hope they'll fix it in the future model years, it's a bit annoying.

Yes all four doors do not close with a "normal" push but need some force, it's super annoying compared to my other cars (Audi/VW) and old Macans that are fine......

I notice mine has broken in a bit over 2000 miles and a couple months. It still needs a firm hand, but not as much as when new. And my muscle memory has adjusted to the point that I'm not slamming my other car's doors.

Uk Macan Turbo here and exactly the same. Have to close the drivers door twice every time with extra force. Other car is an SQ7 vorsprung with soft closing doors so been used to using almost no force on that but the Macan is excessive and both me and my wife complain to each other about it daily. We're 3500 miles in now and its not any better. Watching this thread now!

I test drove one and it had the same issue with doors. Everyone I speak with they just say it’s a Porsche thing. Maybe they should outsource the door development šŸ™ˆ

Less than 500 miles on mine but it seems like it does get better over time. Just hard because I tell my family to not slam the doors on my Taycan. It has the soft close which took them awhile to get used to. Then on the Macan, they have to slam them.

Same here.
I’ve had the car for over 3 months, and no improvement.

I’m not sure that it’s an air pressure issue, as the other three doors close as normal (respectively when the other three doors are closed).
I suspect it’s more to do with the rubber insulating trim, not being fitted perfectly, or possibly a door-hanging issue.
When opening the drivers door from the inside, the inside door handle has a slightly smaller ā€˜travel’ compared to the other three doors, then the door pops open as if there’s substantial outward pressure from the rubber trim. Something similar happens when opening the driver door from the outside.
it’s not so bad that I need to take the car back to Porsche for them to have a look at it, but it is annoying, and every time I need to slam the door shut, a question the build quality of my lovely car. My last cars’ driver’s doors have all closed from gravity alone, with a satisfying clunk.
I’d be keen to know if any other McCann EV owners have managed to resolve this issue satisfactory.
